The Goddess Living presents a series of Gatherings and Ceremonies to connect with the Divine Feminine Energy of The Goddess in community. Each month will focus on a different Goddess and her main Qualities or aspects.

The monthly Goddess Gatherings offer a place to gather as a community to learn about the highlighted Goddess and share our experiences. The New Moon Healing Ceremonies focus on the qualities of the Goddess and bringing them into our life, as well as any healing we may need and setting our intentions or goals for the month. The Full Moon Celebration Ceremonies are to celebrate in community the gifts and blessings in our lives.

Study is available via self-study or live discussion groups.  The live classes and events at the current time are held in the Southern California (Orange/LA County) areas.

How the Attuning to The Goddess Series Works

The Attuning to The Goddess Study Series explores The Goddess in Her many Names and Forms found around the world.  She lives in almost every ancient and indigenous culture of the world.  She is waking up.  The consciousness of the world is also waking up to the energy of the Feminine Divine.  When we add the Feminine Face of God to our consciousness, we can find more harmony, balance, and synergy in our lives. 

We, and our society, are out of balance with the loss of the Feminine Divine and with only the Masculine Divine being seen and felt.  This is not saying there is anything wrong with the Masculine Divine, only that we are out of balance.  This world is one of duality and opposites.  There must be both light and dark, masculine and feminine, present for balance and completeness to be present.  There is too much of the Masculine Divine and too little of the Feminine Divine in the world today.  We must remember and bring back the Feminine Divine, The Goddess, for us as individuals, and for the world to be whole and complete.  In the process, we will find there is more to The God, the Masculine Divine, than what we currently perceive.

In this study of The Goddess we will connect to a different aspect of Her, such as Isis or Cerridwen or Lakshmi, and some of the qualities they most typically represent.  Through our study, we can attune to these qualities and bring these energies into our daily lives.  We can access the ancient knowledge and wisdom of our ancestors of the various faces of The Goddess and her archetype and discover how we can apply that into our present lives.  It is an alchemical blending of the ancient and modern to fit the new paradigms of the New Age we are moving into. 

The Attuning to The Goddess Study Series combines the cycles of the moon and the cycles of the earth to listen to our own cycles.  The moon cycle connects us with and attunes us to one of the many faces of The Goddess.  The earth cycle of the seasons takes us through the cycles of our life; the freshness of the Maiden (Warrior) exploring who we are, the nurturing, caring energy of the Mother (Father), the sense of personal power and service of the Priestess (Priest), and finally the wisdom of the Crone (Sage) (spring, summer, autumn, and winter, respectively). 

In this beginning process, we are moving from the season of fall into the season of winter.  Therefore, we are working with Goddesses who are a combination of Priestesses and Crones.  We begin working with the Goddesses of Cerridwen, Minerva, and then Hecate which takes us into winter and the Crones.  There is a pattern and method to the path of the Goddesses we are attuning to.  Beginning with Cerridwen, we start to connect to our inspiration, we begin to transform and liberate ourselves to be who we truly are.  Then we work with Minerva, and the qualities of inner wisdom and discernment to learn what to do with our new found transformation and freedom; to listen to our inner wisdom on where to go and what to do next.  And then we work with Hecate, at the darkest time of the year, right after winter solstice.  She is the Goddess of the underworld and she will take us deep within ourselves. We’ll be using her energy to go deep within and then we’ll start coming back out.  We’ll then start connecting with those Goddesses who are still Crone energy but moving towards Maiden energy.  By Beltane (May) we’ll be working with Bast and the full Maiden, sensual energy.  We’ll then move from Maiden energy to Mother energy and work with the nurturing Goddesses and then as summer moves into autumn, we’ll connect with the Priestess Goddesses to connect with our own inner power.  This gives us a good tool to grow spiritually and emotionally, and even change physically. 

Following the complete process of attuning to The Goddess through the New Moon Ceremony to the Goddess Gathering and then to the Full Moon Ceremony, is more than a chance to gather in circle and connect as a community.  This is a large part of it.  But it is also what we’re learning from each other as we gather in community to discuss and share. 

The three monthly sessions (New Moon, Goddess Gathering, and Full Moon) work in conjunction to connect ever more deeply with the highlighted Goddess and her qualities.   And each Goddess supports and builds upon the one before and follows a progression.  However, each session is whole and complete in itself so they can be experienced as you are called. 

The Goddess Living offers in-person study of The Goddess through the monthly Goddess Gatherings, the New Moon Healing Ceremonies, and the Full Moon Celebration Ceremonies.  The “Attuning to The Goddess Study Series” is self-study for those unable to attend the classes and ceremonies in Southern California.
